9-Day Botswana Luxury Tour
Your safari begins in the Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana (one of the best wildlife viewing destinations in Africa) where you will explore the wildlife along the Khwai River. Leaving Moremi behind, travel north to the Kwando Private Reserve for the fantastic range of activities and the great game viewing that the reserve provides. Departing from Kwando, venture further into Chobe National Park and finish your luxury Botswana tour in style in the Savuti area.

Day 1 Arrive in Maun and fly to Moremi
This morning you will arrive in to Maun airport where you will be met and assisted through to your light aircraft flight to Moremi. You are met at the airstrip on arrival in Moremi and transferred by boat to your camp where you will be shown to your luxury tented accommodation.
After refreshments you will plan your personal adventure together with experienced guides who have spent their lives accumulating knowledge and an understanding of the complex ecosystem of the Okavango Delta. You will set out with your guide in a mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) and explore the islands on foot.
Together, as you silently observe nature with minimal impact, you will begin to realise the privilege and quiet excitement of being in the magical Okavango Delta.

Day 2-3 Safari activities in Moremi
You have two full days to e joy your safari activities (included) at Gunn's Camp in the Moremi Reserve.
Chief's Island in the Moremi Reserve has one of the largest remaining populations of African wildlife in the delta area, and sightings may include Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, the elusive Wild Dog, Hippo, Crocodile and a variety of plains game from Zebra to Lechwe. Gunn's Camp is also a birder's paradise, with over 240 species including the rare Pel's Fishing Owl and endangered Wattled Crane.
In the evenings as you relax in the main lodge, reflections of treasured memories are cast in the glow of a spectacular sunset. The newly refurbished main lodge boasts a welcoming and comfortable bar where guests can enjoy a drink while watching the African sun set over the Okavango.

Day 4 Fly to Kwando Concession
You will leave the Moremi areas today as you fly on to the Kwando Concession. You are met on arrival and are driven to Lebala Camp where you stay for the following 3 nights on an all-inclusive basis.
At Lebala Camp you only need to sit on your private wooden deck for a short while to see a variety of animals wander by. Lebala is intimate with 8 large tented rooms accommodating 16 people. Full en-suite bathrooms and spacious interiors make it very comfortable and each room has its own deck for relaxing.
The rooms are widely spread out with a short stroll to the main lodge, so you are accompanied to and from your tent during the evening in case you encounter animals. This freedom from fences makes your African game experience all the more exciting.
Lebala Camp is in the heart of big game country and the open floodplains form the focus of the animal concentrations.

Day 5-6 Safari activities in the Kwando Concession
You have two full days on safari in the Kwando Concession with your twice daily safari activities included in your stay. Lebala Camp is in a private concession and so you have the opportunity to drive off road in search of sightings – indeed guests have often been able to follow the wild dogs on their hunts. The private concession also means you are able to drive at night with spotlights and around 30% of fascinating mammals are mainly active at night, so this gives you more opportunities to view them.
It is also possible to do guided walks in Kwando as well as night game drives. An area is chosen at the guide's discretion and in keeping with safe distances from large herds of elephant and buffalo. The distance and area for each walk may vary seasonally and is always at the guides’ discretion.

Day 7 Fly to Savuti
You leave Kwando Concession behind today as you fly to the Savute area of Chobe. You are met on arrival and are driven to Savute Safari Lodge where you stay for the following 2 nights on an all-inclusive basis.
Stretching from the Linyanti River all the way to Savute Marsh, the winding waterways of the Savute Channel have pumped life into the western section of Chobe National Park for thousands of generations. However, this fickle and unpredictable channel has a fascinating history of flooding and drying up, independently of good rainy seasons and flood levels elsewhere. The Savute region and the Savute Marsh in particular, is renowned for its intense predator encounters and exceptional game viewing making it one of Botswana’s most popular wildlife destinations.

Day 8 Safari activities with Savute Safari Lodge
You have a full day on safari today. Your activities are organised around game drives throughout the Savute area in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Many trips will incorporate a visit to the Savute Marsh to give you a chance to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a backdrop of teeming wildlife. You can also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills – a small hilly outcrop which forms a prominent landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.

Day 9 Fly to Kasane and depart
You will check out from Savute Safari Lodge this morning and you are driven to the airstrip for your onwards flight to Kasane. You are met in Kasane where we will assist you with your onward travel arrangements.
