Not only is the reserve home to Africa’s majestic Big Five, but it also has a well-concentrated population of giraffe, zebra and a large variety of antelope.

Bush walks are tailor-made for guests 16 years of age and older according to preferences and fitness levels.

Expert guides offer the ultimate bush experience by pointing out animal tracks, hiding spots, rare birds and sharing details about the rich cultural history of the area.

Inyati is a photographer’s paradise. Animals, landscapes, lightning storms and the ever-changing skies at dawn and dusk make it impossible to put the camera down for fear of missing yet another captivating moment.

To top off an epic safari holiday, Inyati also offers fishing with all fishing equipment supplied by the lodge.

The Sand River is home to over 37 species of fish.

As bush walks are not suitable for the little ones, parents can book young children on a fun and educational Young Rangers Programme.

The programme is made to educate, entertain and promote life skills, yet all in an extremely fun and safe environment. At the end of their stay, children are issued an Inyati Young Rangers certificate.
