Day 1-2 Tau Pan Camp

Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your shared light air charter that will fly you into the Central Kalahari, arriving at Tau Pan Camp, overlooking the renown salt pan. Tau Pan is the first semi-permanent camp inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and offers truly incredible views from the elevated ridge of an ancient sand dune, an unusual experience in a land as flat as Botswana, and overlooks the famous Tau Pan - recognised for its stark beauty and remoteness. Spend your first 2 nights in Botswana at the all inclusive Tau Pan Camp and enjoy activities such as game drives, day trips to the well-known Deception Valley, Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, star gazing, and nature walks with Bushman trackers.

Day 3-5 Splash Camp

After breakfast in the Central Kalahari, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your shared light air charter to the Kwara Concession. Splash Camp is situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within the Private Kwara Reserve. This brand new camp will offer a very relaxed, friendly and authentic atmosphere. The area has long been known as Splash due to the huge water crossings that had to be negotiated to access the camp area. The Kwara Reserve shares a 30km water boundary with the famous Moremi Game Reserve and its unique location boasts both permanent water and seasonal flood plains as well as extensive dry bush wilderness. Favoured by labyrinths of permanent water channels and secret islands this area offers the perfect delta experience, and is considered to be amongst the best in Botswana for game viewing and activities. 5 activities - game drives, mokoro excursions, boat cruises, seasonal fishing, walking safaris.
