Day 1-3 The Chobe River on a private luxury houseboat

The Pangolin Voyager is a houseboat situated on the Namibian side of the Chobe River and travels between three distinct mooring points along this beautiful waterway. The Pangolin Voyager has five bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests in five en suite air conditioned cabins. The houseboat is offered on an all inclusive exclusive basis with all meals and drinks included in the stay. Alongside the houseboat is a photographic boat with rotating seats aligned centrally which can be fitted with photographic mounts if requested for the serious photographers in the group. Other activities include local village visits, walks on nearby islands and at certain times of the year fishing can be arranged at a small additional cost. Alternatively we can heartily recommend spending time on the sun drenched upper deck with a good book and something cool and refreshing within arms reach! The guides on the boat have lived there all their lives and are excellent guides for mammals and birds.

Day 4-6 Bushman Plains camp

Bushman Plains is a classic Botswana camp which is an owner managed community camp. The owners are the local Bushmen who have called this little piece of paradise home for centuries. It is a short charter flight from the Chobe. If you are looking for glitz and glamour with needles extravagances then this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking to be guided around the Okavango Delta by arguably some of the best guides in the region then this is the perfect place for you to visit. Its is comfortable and homely and more importantly directly supports the local community. There are only five en suite tents at Bushman Plains so as with the Pangolin Voyager you will have the whole place to yourselves. There are two game viewers and water levels allow you can experience the quintessential Okavango activity - The Mokoro (dug out canoe). Bushman Plains offers day and night drives along with walking safaris with the Bushmen.

Day 7 Flight to Maun

On the final day you will have time to have one last game drive before you head to the airstrip for your onward connection. You can, if you like, add another destination in Botswana or perhaps catch the daily flight from Maun to Cape Town and spend some time in South Africa's favourite holiday destination.
